Tex Mex, Sizzling Steak, Rich curry, Middle Eastern Cuisine, Country Cookin'
As each region provides a signature dish, so do we as people. A restaurant is rarely able to provide the best across the board. You will be disappointed if you order steak instead of burgers at the Ground Pati, and you wouldn't go to Chinese buffet in search of great pizza, or order BBQ chicken at a steakhouse. We don't travel to El Paso for great Cajun food, or to India for select hot dogs. So why do we as people feel we must offer the best of everything? It would be best if we focused on our signature dish, and unapologetically offered that on the table of life.

I love this vivid analogy with restaurants and their signature dishes. This makes your point so vividly.
Could this become the seed of a magazine article? A fresh and striking way of looking at a truth really brings it alive for people - certainly yours in this post does that for me!
Thanks, Karen Ashley. I do plan to work on something to submit somewhere soon. This may be a good idea to develop. This kind of exchange is part of what I love about blogging. It's a great seed bed for ideas.
